Project Blue Mountain (WIP)
A downloadable game
A once sleepy town has been rocked by a series of overdoses and, most recently, the apparent murder of this year's prom queen. The town sits atop a complex system of caves and abandoned mines, and is nestled within a deep forest. All of it resting beneath a tall blue mountain.
Within those caves, burial tombs sit in complete darkness. The mine's deepest reaches are now home to a secret government facility dedicated to researching and containing the things that lurk in the spaces beneath. Things that have crawled out from the rift - the place where things come apart. There have been attempts to map the corridors beyond and only guesses as to what vastness contains such a tangled maze.
But it is the rumored, wish granting powers that exist in The Lodge that drives everyone deeper as its dark influence seeps into the world above.
Update:
We fell off hard with this challenge but I'm coming back to finish it in a smaller format.
Locals will still include the town, its outskirts, the forest and base of the mountains, the abandoned mines, the secrets within the mountain, the "space between," "where reality starts coming apart," The Halls, The Vastness, and The Lodge.

Love the Twin Peaks vibes. I'm curious to see how it translates to a megadungeon!
This looks VERY interesting. And a brilliant take on the dungeon23 concept!! I cant wait!
